With the PEEK+PTFE thickness of 0.30-0.50mm, it provides high wear resistance and low friction even only minute quantities of lubricants are supplied. This bearing surface carries a pattern of circular indents which should be filled with grease on assembly of the bearings.

Bronze layer thickness is 0.20-0.35mm. It provides max. thermal conductrivity away from the bearing surface, also serves as a reservoir for the PEEK/PTFE mixture.

Steel Backing provides mechanical strength and high load carrying capacity, with the Copper or Tin plating of 0.002mm, the bearing surface is corrosion resistance.
