                 Pipe Tangent Bend/Pipe bend with tangent length

If a pipe bend with tangent length(tangent pipe bend),it means this bend has the straight pipe length in the ends.Commonly a hot induction pipe bend should has some straight length in the end,the length of this tangent can be customized as per the piping system design.This tangent length will make it easier for the bend to weld with pipes .

The long bending radius and tangent straight pipe length make the welding point less in a piping system,it will save the work and cost in the field.The most regular pipe bends are 30 degree,45 degree,90 degree,the bending radius are 3D,5D,7D,10D, here the “D” means the nominal diameter of this bend.
